Fox picks up 'Chicken' pilot

Werner, Gold, Miller to exec produce

Pilot pickup -- "Playing Chicken," a half-hour comedy about mismatched brothers. Fire-breathing conservative Jake suffers an accident that leaves him wheelchair-bound, forcing him to move in with his smart lefty brother Tim. Tom Werner, Eric Gold and Jimmy Miller will exec produce the pilot, which comes from scribes Sean Anders and John Morris (who are co-EPs). Warner Bros. TV and Werner-Gold-Miller produces.
Pilot presentation order -- "The Revenge Project," a single-camera, partially scripted comedy about three women who decide to exact revenge on the men who have wronged them. Damon Santostefano ("Bring It On Again") will write, direct and exec produce. Fox 21 is behind the alternative series.
