"Practice" star to "Protect" at CBS

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Steve Harris ("The Practice") has signed on to star in CBS' drama pilot "Protect and Serve," which follows the lives of street cops in suburban Los Angeles.

Harris will play one of them, a seasoned cop who is physically imposing but not that fit. He most recently co-starred on the short-lived NBC series "Heist."
