English network joins unit

Al Jazeera English had been added to pan-African satcaster MultiChoice's bouquet of channels. Aletta Alberts, MultiChoice general manager for content, said the 24-hour English-language news and current affairs service, part of the Qatar-based Al Jazeera Network, started transmission on the satcaster's DStv channel 62 at the beginning of June.
