Camara replaces Berk as Foreign Press head

Jorge Camara was elected president of the Hollywood Foreign Press Assn. for 2007-08 at the annual election meeting held Tuesday.
Stint will be Camara's fifth as president. He replaces Phil Berk. Camara, a 42-year HFPA member, works for a number of Mexican and Latin American outlets.
Org is best known for dispensing the annual Golden Globe awards.
Mike Goodridge was elected VP. Serge Rakhlin was elected executive secretary and Meher Tatna treasurer.
The members of the incoming board of directors will be Mahfouz Doss (chairman), Armando Gallo, Anke Hofmann, Erkki Kanto, Paz Mata and Frances Schonberger (alternate).
