White joins ABC's 'Wives'

Fox: Casting -- Kirstie Alley ("Fat Actress") will play the title role in "The Minister of Divine," a half-hour based on the Britcom "The Vicar of Dibley." Laffer, from 20th Century Fox TV, is about a rebellious woman who ends up minister of her small-town church.
Casting -- Cole Hauser ("The Break Up") will play one of the two lead cops on "K-Ville," the New Orleans-set drama from 20th Century Fox TV.
Casting -- Kurtwood Smith ("That '70 Show") is onboard to play Justice Henry Greenberg on "Supreme Courtships," from 20th Century Fox TV.
ABC: Casting -- Brian White ("Stomp the Yard") will play Kyle in Touchstone-produced "Football Wives," the remake of the hit Blighty sudser "Footballers Wive$." He'll play the fiance of Chardonnay Lane (Gabrielle Union).
CW: Pickup -- Untitled Maggie Friedman Project, a half-hour about a young life coach/witch in New York who uses her magical powers to help others solve their problems. Friedman wrote the pilot and will exec produce with Becky Hartman-Edwards. Warner Bros. TV is producing.
